I have been accompanied on my own journey by a range of helpers, each generously sharing their own stories and skills - some very special friends, counsellors, healers, Bowen therapists, and homeopaths.

Three years ago I felt the need to be in a more rural environment, and moved myself and my 2 children from Warwickshire to Shropshire. I have had a wonderful experience as a health promotion specialist in this area, empowering communities to take control of the things affecting their health.

Coming across Fiona Harrolds’ book “Be your own life coach” I found a profession that I had been doing informally for years with friends, family and colleagues! This was the start of my journey towards becoming a life coach which I have approached from a Neuro Linguistic Programming perspective. I have received life coach training from David Miskimin and Jack Stewart (see Universal Coach at www.innerplayer.com) and am in a coaching circle where as a small group we support each in reflecting on our practice and continuing our learning.

I enjoy sharing my journey with my 2 teenage children, as well as making time for playing the drum with a local samba band, learning to kayak, growing vegetables and walking in the local hills.
